Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production: A Guide to Local Policy

In an August 12 webinar hosted by CAFS, Liz Turner, a visiting assistant professor at Vermont Law and Graduate School and a project co-lead for CAFS’s Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production Policy Project, presented on the research behind “Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production: A Guide to Local Policy.” Based on a policy scan of 17 cities across the United States, this guide discusses common policy barriers to urban agriculture and identifies strategies that local governments can use to help farmers and gardeners overcome those barriers.
