The Legal and Policy Fellow is a valued member of CAFS’s team who contributes research and develops materials that provide approachable legal and policy information to individuals and entities including farmers, ranchers, and other food producers, as well as technical assistance and service providers, food system stakeholders, local governments, and other supporting organizations.
Salary: $65,000-$75,000/year
NOTE: This is a grant-funded, two-year position with the possibility of renewal contingent on funding and staffing needs.
The Center for Agriculture and Food Systems is housed at Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS), located on the White River in the historic village of South Royalton, VT, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from Hanover, NH, and a 45-minute drive from Montpelier, VT.
