CAFS Lunch and Learn: Urban Agriculture and Local Policy

On April 14, 2026, Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS) Visiting Assistant Professor Liz Turner shared insights from CAFS’s Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production Policy Project during a CAFS Lunch and Learn. In her talk, Turner shared her career journey, how she developed the urban agriculture research project as a CAFS fellow, and what’s next for the project. VLGS students Chrystal Aquino JD’27 and Elijah Zwick JD’27 also shared the experiences about working on this project and attending an Urban Agriculture Directors Alliance convening in Austin, Texas, with Turner and CAFS Deputy Director and Senior Researcher Lihlani Nelson.
